Heather and an old song all have good points. We all have different levels of “sensitivity”. I am sure there are many reasons, and I have my own personal experience of varying levels of “sensitivity” during my life.

I do know that you can turn it off, and I do know that our current “modern” society can interefere and “short” it out. We are bombarded daily in all aspects of our lives with all types of subconscious brainwashing, electromagnetic intereference on our nervous systems, and the degragration of our environment, food, and water. In short, a part of who we are meant to be, has either been intentionally or unintentionally circumvented.

So, it is no wonder that people en masse have lost the connection. It is a struggle to maintain it, but again it depends upon your level of sensitivity. We cannot all go live in a Tibetian monastery in the Himalays. But to make the point, that individual sanctuary that used to be available to all on this planet, has been compromised with the direction our civilization and society has taken. Which is very unfortunate, as the move to a modern society and the benefits of such, could indeed have created a utopia. But, the greed, hate, and man’s inhumanity to man have doomed us in a certain respect, to suffer the consequences.

I do not believe in reincarnation back to this physical planet. I do believe we are on an eternal path of the soul and the mind to different realms outside of this current physical reality. Our “glimpses” of what comes next is just that. The veil is not fully penetrable while we are housed in the physical body. Our perceptions beyond the veil is based on our level of “sensitivity”. It is just a “tease” as to what comes next.

well i believe that too,but most i importantly i believe that all those doors are closed because of a world that stresses the outside as way of life,adding to the fact wthat this world wants to have power over you so you end up not relying on your inner sense anymore and end up forgetting them until you don t even remember who you really are.i think it goes much further than just the pursuit of money or being taught something or just because we feel we are above animals and plants.don t get me wrong i understand what you mean and i understand that this statement is related to your own self.

Hello,
i wouldn t know what to say about myself but that i have always been interested in the old arts, especially in the hidden part and the deciphering shedding light of new knowledge or what has been forgotten.
i m not a practionner and i don t have any special abilities but i always thought that it was because they were asleep.
the times we live in are not the best to look for such things and as i grew older i lost touch with all this side because there s not much time left to study anymore,but i admire people who still do and keep on living the life that was forbidden to live.
